Graham McIntosh
In the few years that Thistletown Boxing Club has been operating, coach Graham McIntosh has produced some very high quality and talented fighters.  Thistletown Boxing Club includes 3 provincial champions, and a number of golden gloves, bronze gloves and diamond belt champions.

Before discovering his passion for coaching, Graham McIntosh was a decorated fighter. Graham is an 8-time Provincial Champion and was a competitive athlete with over 100 bouts. Graham has fought five World Champions including Billy “the kid” Irwin, Arturro Gatti, Tim Austin, Julio Gonanzales, and Sidney Vanderpool. In international competition Graham has competed against Hungary, France, Spain, Italy, Indonesia, Scotland, Russia, The USA, and Zimbabwe.

His national accomplishments include:

2 time Golden Gloves Champion
Canadian Champion
Two silver medals and a bronze medal at Canadian Championships

Peggy Maerz is known as an accomplished fighter with numerous titles. She recently had her professional debut in Calgary and will be continuing to fight as a professional. Peggy is a qualified coach that has been great for people interested in the cardio focused boxing classes. Her never give up attitude and motivational commentary is a huge help to all that attend those classes.
